Island Block & Paving is the leading independent manufacturer and supplier of Concrete Masonry products in Tasmania. The Island Block & Paving production facility includes three manufacturing plants and is located at Breadalbane, strategically located to service the entire state.
Island Block & Paving is a privately owned Company and was the first Tasmanian concrete masonry manufacturer to gain Quality Assurance to ISO 9001-2001
The company is also certified for OH&S to AS/NZS 4801.
The Company was first registered in Tasmania in 1993 as ACN 061 943 057.
Island Block & Paving is a previous winner of the Telstra Tasmania Small Business of the year award.
The Directors of the Company are Bill Fawdry, Phil Thurlow and Michael Fawdry. The directors have a combined experience of 85 years in the building industry.
Island Block & Paving produce a unique range of concrete building blocks, weedfree paving, retaining wall systems and landscape products, all in a variety of colours, shapes and textures. This extensive product range services the entire Tasmanian building industry, incorporating the commercial, residential, civil and landscape sectors as well as the general public and DIY markets.
