With the recent installation of a state of the art shot blasting machine, Island Block and Paving can now offer a comprehensive range of exposed aggregate finished Weedfree pavers, all are available in a variety of surface finishes, colours and textures. Exposed aggregate pavers can be manufactured specifically to an architect’s specification ie. colour, colour of aggregate and the degree of shot blasting can all be varied to suit an individual design.
Exposed aggregate pavers are non slip because of their texture and are used for many applications including courtyard entertaining areas, paths, pool surrounds, stair treads, non slip areas, architectural features and commercial paved areas.
For trafficable areas such as Driveways, Car parks and light commercial vehicle areas, Island Block and Paving have now released the up market Drivestone exposed aggregate paving range. These large format pavers are 400mm x 300mm x 65mm thick, up market in appearance and very easy to lay.
Exposed aggregate pavers are recommended to be sealed with 2 coats of Concrete stencil sealer available from Island Block and Paving.
