Island Block & Paving had the privilege of being asked to display our Sustainable Products for the Future range as a part of the Design Matters National “Sustainability Hub” at the 2022 Decor + Design Home Show. The 4 day event held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre was a great way to showcase to the hundreds of designers we met how our expansive Sustainable Products for the Future range can benefit their projects.
The Design Matters National Sustainability Hub at Decor + Design 2022 shone a spotlight on eco-friendly building products, design, furniture and recycled materials, reflecting our move as an industry and society towards more conscious living so was a great fit to show off our Sustainable Products for the Future range.
The Sustainable Products for the Future is an exclusive product collection of bricks, building blocks, retaining wall blocks and paving made from a high quality engineered sand, consisting of processed coloured glass aggregates which provide on trend colours and textures that softly glisten. The high-end range has many surface finishes , including exposed aggregate, refined and polished all which provide a multitude of design options for the architecturally inspired.
These patented building products are trademarked as Bricks for the Future, Blocks for the Future, Pavers for the Future and the Freestone ECO Retaining Wall System are quality assured to ISO 9001:2015 and have achieved Global Green Tag certification along with the Platinum Health Rating.
